Hand held router plate designed for a compact router. Includes two handles for better freehand control and safety. Features a 1-3/16" bit/bushing hole which accepts a Woodhaven Guide bushing (two-piece Porter Cable style).
7mm (1/4") thick white phenolic plate is 7-3/4" by 5" and includes mounting screws. Our Phenolic plate is more durable than the acrylic plates others sell. See our 8321-8381 Routing Plates if you need a larger bit opening. See our 8325-8395 Offset Plates for safer edge routing. Router not included.

I installed this on my Makita 18v router, and what a huge difference. The factory base plate is small, causing the router to rock while using templates and this resolves that issue and just makes it more solid.
As others have mentioned, I would prefer a clear plate and Phillip head screws. Quality is top shelf including fit and finish. 5 stars.
I needed a base plate that accepted bushings for template routing. This is my second purchase from this company. Very happy.
Absolutely fits and works as advertised. However, it would be better if it was plexiglass, because I could then see thru it ! I don't care that plexiglass scratches, I can still see thru it....can't see thru a solid so 4 stars instead of 5.
Nice product but flat head screws?!
