Looking to join two pieces of wood end-to-end using a long, sloped cut (typically 8:1 or 12:1 ratio) to create a nearly invisible, strong, and rigid seam? The Woodhaven Scarfing sled will have you creating high quality joints quickly.

Sturdy aluminum Double Track rails support the router and won't deflect as you move the router back and forth over the stock.

Includes a NoDrill Router Plate with a quick attach feature so your router can be quickly attached or removed. You can use a Fixed or Plunge Base Router with the Woodhaven Scarfing Sled. We highly recommend a Plunge Base Router as the plunge feature makes bit height adjustments and incremental depth quicker.

The Woodhaven Scarfing Sled is the most precise and repeatable scarf joint router jig available for woodworkers and luthiers alike. Whether you're building guitar necks that require a tight headstock scarf joint, joining long boards end-to-end, or tapering stock for any other application, this scarfing jig delivers a flat, consistent angled surface that hand tools and table saw sleds simply can't match. For luthiers, the guitar scarfing jig capability alone makes it an essential shop tool the sled holds your workpiece at a consistent angle while the router removes material in controlled passes, leaving a glue-ready surface straight off the bit.

Works with any router bit you supply that has an overall length of at least 2-1/2". Our optional 13600 up-shear router bit leaves a great surface finish! Has a 1-1/2" cutting diameter, 5/8" cutting length with a 2-1/2" overall length and a 1/2" shank.
