Collection: Router Planing Sleds

A Woodhaven router planing sled is the most affordable way to flatten wide slabs, live-edge boards, glue-ups, and butcher blocks without a wide drum sander or industrial planer. The router rides in a rigid aluminum track system above the workpiece, taking controlled passes until the surface is perfectly flat across its full width.

Woodworkers use these sleds for surfacing rough slabs before finishing, flattening workbenches, truing up cutting boards, and milling wide panels that exceed the capacity of a standard thickness planer. The compact model handles projects up to 15 inches wide. The Double Track sled handles up to 27 inches wide, and the Ultra Track sled has models up to 84 inches wide. Both designs handle an unlimited length. Both are made in Iowa and backed by a lifetime guarantee.

Sleds use Ultra Track and Double Track aluminum rails. Dust collection and rail extension kits are listed on this page.
