Our Busso Hinge Jigs are the easiest and most accurate way to route the required hinge mortises. Uses a bearing guided pattern bit (our 8506 - sold separately), to follow the jig for a perfect mortise. Jigs attaches to a 3/4" wood fence included. The fence provides chip-free cuts and easy indexing. A locating slot on the bottom side of the jig will insure the fence is square on the jig.

The MDF panel isn't the best. I replaced it with hardwood.
Jeff, The MDF panel is simply a spacer between the lid and the box. Soft MDF is used instead of hardwood to prevent any complications when routing the hinge cutouts.
