7660 Large Half-Blind Router Table Dovetail Jig w/Bit

Cut half-blind dovetail joints in 1/2" to 3/4" thick stock. Features a 1/2" thick CNC machined phenolic template that's as tough as aluminum, but less expensive to replace if you have an "accident". This jig makes 90 degree joints typical for drawer work with a template featuring 7/8" on-center dovetail spacing. This is the popular spacing for drawers, etc. For stock up to 11-3/4" wide.

Easy to use right from the box if you read the instructions. The bit adjustment takes some time but it is necessary for a precise joint fit. Fairly sturdy for me, I'm a hobbyist. Overall I'm glad with this purchase.

I gave this jig 4 stars because it is well built and easy to use. However, I had to spend a LOT of time and burn through a lot of wood scraps to get set it up right. It all comes down to simply getting the bit set at the right height, but this (at least for me) was very time consuming. Once you got it set right it does cut beautiful, perfect half-blinds. Hopefully the setup won't take that long again. If it does, I probably won't be using it.
