It works well. But it's annoying because you have to separately take a screwdriver and loosen the base screw if you want to relocate it. How much that matters to you or not I guess will depend on how often you need to relocate it.
Would be a lot handier if releasing the clamp also allowed you to move it within the slot on the table.
With the black phenolic base installed, the padded hold down bolt is not long enough to clamp down materials thinner than about 3/4 inch. I had on hand the appropriate hardware to bolt the clamp directly to the supertrack base and that solved the issue. I installed the provided bolts to the phenolic base piece and attached that to the edge slot of the supertrack so all pieces for both configurations remain together.
