Not a good match for my DW745. The insert was a little too thick meaning I would have to remove 1/16th - 1/8th from the throat plate or material would catch upon feeding. I also removed the riving knife before making my cut so that the blade would make the entire cut but if you attach the riving knife again it catches on the back of the new throat plate anyway. I did reach out to customer service but, unless their reply went to junk mail, I haven't seen a response yet.
There is not adequate opening for unremoveable
riving knife on 7491.
