Here's the best way to guarantee perfect placement of cup hinges. The 8610 marks the 35mm cup location & both mounting holes. Uses a Marking Punch (8600 - order separately) to mark all three holes for drilling, or a Self-Centering drill (6505 or 6507 - order separately) can de used to drill the two mounting holes. You need a drill press to drill the cup hole with a 35mm drill (8607 - order separately). Cup backset can be adjusted between 0-18mm. Jig is reversible so it can be flipped for marking both the top/bottom or left/right. Includes an 8" aluminum One Track with a stop to position the cup center up to 5-1/4" from the top/bottom of the door. The optional 8610K Two Jig Kit includes two 8610's and a 4236 36" One Track. Perfect for marking two hinges up to 30" apart with one setup. Made of heavy duty phenolic for professional use in the shop or field.
