Woodhaven 790XL 50" Dado Jig

The 790XL Dado Jig Plus model cuts dadoes up to 50" long and 3/16" to 3-1/4" wide. Make tight dadoes without special dado bits - works with standard router bits up to 3/4" diameter. We recommend a 1/2" to 5/8" bit for 3/4" wide dadoes. Also great for half-lap joints, flutes, sliding dovetails, or any cut that requires the router to be guided in a straight line. It's no secret that most materials vary in thickness, and our Dado Jigs let you adjust for that so your dadoes fit like a glove! Cuts dadoes by guiding the router plate against one long fence of the jig, then back against the opposite fence. To use, insert the workpiece you're cutting the dado for in between the fences. Snug the fence to the workpiece, tighten two knobs and you're ready to cut the most accurate dadoes imaginable - it's that simple! Cuts dadoes from 3/16" to 3-1/4" wide. Adjustments made with two knobs, no tools required. Includes our NoDrill router plate which has a quick attach feature that leaves your router free for other tasks. Uses standard router bits up to 3/4" diameter. Zero-clearance fences prevent grain lift for a clean dado and are easily replaced when worn. Length of cut controlled with easy to adjust stops. Three models to choose from. Ultra Track aluminum extrusions used throughout, this heavy duty Dado Jig can be clamped or bolted to your workbench or clamped to the work itself. Clamps not included. We recommend a plunge router for stopped dadoes/cuts.
